Mangalore: Sudatta Jain, General Secretary of the Akhila Bharatha Karmika Sangha (ABKS) has said that the Sangha will be holding a Rashtra Raksha programme at Sai Kripa building, Kottara Chowki on August 5 at 10 am.
Speaking to reporters, he said the programme was open for all. Jain also expressed his concern over the attempts made by a few elements to disrupt communal harmony in Mangalore and also urged the working force to be united.
On the continuing fight of the Sangha for better amenities at the ESI Hospital, he said the Sangha has already submitted a memorandum to the chief minister to provide good families at the ESI hospital and also fill vacancies in the hospital.
ABKS office bearers Padmanabha Shetty, Donald Karkala, Asha Anand Devadiga, Saju, and others were also present.
