Udupi :  An Akki Hundi was inaugurated at the Sri Durga Adi Shakti Kshetra Doddanagudde on account of Sharannavaratri celebrations. The Dharmadarshi Ramananda Guruji and Krishnamurthi Tantri, priest jointly inaugurated the Hundi by offering rice.

The Akki Hundi resembling the shape of a Tulasikatte is based on Kashta Shlipa and  is facing the sanctum sanctorum.

A Chandika Yaga was also held at the temple on behalf of Deepak Kumar, Chandrika couple of Mumbai.

Brahmana Suhasini Aradhane, Kannikaradhane, etc were held. Various cultural programmes were also organized.

Ann Santharpanes is also being held in the temple on account of Sharannavaratri.
