Mangalore : Student community of Mangalore staged a protest outside the DC office in Mangalore on October 18, Friday demanding CBI probe into Sowjanya case. The protest was organised by All College Students Association. Students of various colleges participated in the protest.

The students also lit candles to pray for Sowjanya’s soul on her birthday.Dinaker Shetty, President of the Association  urged the government to hand over a compensation of Rs five lakh to the family of Sowjanya. He also flayed some people for accusing Dharmasthala Dharmadhikari Veerendra Heggade family for being behind the murder.
