Mangalore : Fomer mayor and Congress leader K Ashraf who convened a press meet here on April 12, Friday has said that all differences in the party over the candidature of JR Lobo, have been sorted out.

He said all party workers and leaders will work unitedly for Lobo’s success in the election. He said  there is no difference now and even Ivan who has just come from Bangalore will be part of the campaigning process.

Ashraf said Lobo was an ideal candidate for Mangalore and that Mangalore will see development in case he won. He said he has seen Lobo work sincerely as the MCC Commissioner as well as KUDCEMP  Director, during his tenure as Mayor of Mangalore.

He said everyone in the party will respect the decision of the party leadership and will work sincerely for the victory of the party.

Ashraf also lashed out at the BJP government and said the people had to only suffer problems during the BJP tenure.

Mithun Rai, District Youth Congress Preisdent, Praveenchandra Alva, Mangalore Unit Youth Congress President, Suresh Ballal, Nagendra and others were present.
