Bengaluru: Chief Minister of Karnataka Siddaramaiah has decided to call for an all party meeting on August 7 regarding the further move of Mahadayi river dispute.
It was decided after a meeting with legal experts at his home office ‘Krishna’ on Wednesday.
After the meeting speaking to the media personnel he said that opposition leaders, Loka Sabha and Rajya Sabha leaders of the state, north Karnataka region MLA’s and MLC’s will be invited for the meeting.
“Further course of action whether to apply for re-evaluation of the interim order or to appeal the Supreme Court, will be decided in the meeting. Before that irrigation Minister M B Patil will hold talk with veteran lawyer Nariman. Opinions of all the legal advisors and legal experts will be considered before taking any decision,” he said.
It is reported that the legal experts have suggested for the re-evaluation of the interim order, before appealing the Supreme Court.
