Udupi: Tensed situation was created in front Udupi DC office as the Bunts community protestors’ cars were stopped at the gate of the DC office, on Wednesday.

Bunts community people had come to the DC office to submit the memorandum seeking transparent and unbiased probe in Bhaskar Shetty murder case. Police locked the main gate and didn’t allowe the protestors to get in with their car.

Ajith Kumar Maladi said to the police “we go to Home Ministers and CM’s house and there also nobody stops us. Here we are gathered to submit a memorandum to the DC, even after having enough space in the parking yard why are you stopping our cars?”

In-Charge SP Vishnuvardha apologised with protestors and assured to discuss this matter with concerned officers.
