Moodbidire: Manuja Nehiga ,third standard student of Alva’s English Medium School, Moodbidire has bagged first place in individual story telling( Kathabhinaya) and Yakshagana and second place in action song in District Level ‘Prathibha Karanji -2016’ held in Government Pre-university college, Kavalapadooru, Vagga, Bantwala.

Prior to this he has got first place in three different competitions held in Moodbidire Cluster Level and Mangaluru Taluq Level ‘Prathibha Karanji-2016’. He is the son of Alva’s Theatre Director, Jeevanram Sullia and Alva’s PG Studies Journalism Dept Head Dr Moulya Jeevanram. The program was organised by under the aegis of Dakshina Kannada Zilla Panchayath and Education Department of Mangaluru.
