Moodabidiri: Alva’s Pre University students have bagged two gold medals in National Athletics tournament held in Pune, Maharashtra.

The tourney was organised by School Games Federation of India. In Under 19 Shotput event Alva’s student Ashish Balotya stood first by throwing the shotput for 17.32 meters.

In Javelin throw Runjun Pegu bagged the gold by throwing 43.62 meters.

Both are pursuing their PU education under Alva’s Free Education Project. Alva’s Educational Institutions President Dr M Mohan Alva has congratulated the winners.
