Moodabidiri: ‘Alva’s Varna Virasat-2017’, a national level art camp was inaugurated by Gurukula Public School, Koteshwara Managing Trustee Anupama Hegde, on Wednesday at Vidyagiri, Moodabidiri.

Speaking on the occasion she said that education and art are interrelated. Alva’s has reached the gal of education by promoting both art and education.

Jain Math’s Swasthishree Chaarukeerti Bhattaraka Pandithacharyavarya Swamiji said that Indian culture and art are great among others. Only few countries including India have rich culture and tradition. There is a need to save it for next generation.

Veteran artist Devudas Shetty’s book ‘Master Stroke’ was released on the occasion by Alva’s Educational Foundation President Dr M Mohan Alva.
