Moodbidri : The Alva’s Virasat, the national cultural festival organised by the Alva’s Education Foundation at Shobhavana, Mijar near here, drew to a spectacular close on January 13, Sunday.
It was a perfect musical evening with MD Pallavi Arun and Vijay Prakash enthralling the audience through their scintillating numbers.Clarionet player from Poland, nicknamed as Watts joined the group.
The jam packed stadium gave a standing ovation when Prakash came with Masakkali song. His magical voice easily mesmerized the audience.The combination of classic and mass songs continued when Pallavi started with ‘Kurigalu Saar Kurigalu’ of Nissar Ahmed. The ‘Jai Ho’, a hit from the movie ‘Slum Dog Millionaire’also left the audience spell bound.
The last day also say some wonderful cultural performances.
