Mangaluru : A Village Assistant (VA) of Amblamogaru Gram Panchayat has reportedly committed suicide by hanging himself at his house in the village on July 29, Thursday.

The deceased is Nithin Shetty (34).

It is said, He had dropped his wife at her workplace at Kuthar and returned home, after ended his life by hanging him self in a room . The reason behind his extreme step is not known.

Nithin had got the post of revenue worker after the death of his uncle who was previously holding the post.

Konaje Police have registered a case.
