Mangaluru: Mata Amritanandamayi, who is widely popular as ‘Amma’, was at Amrita Vidyalayam Grounds in Mangaluru where she blessed devotees in her trademark way – with a kiss and hug at ‘Amritasangama 2017’on Thursday.
Addressing the devotees, Mata Amritanandamayi said, the every creature like birds and other animals, plants and trees, each and every atom is overflowing with an divine power. God is fully present in all that is sentient and insentient. When we fully understand this truth, we can do nothing but love ourselves as well as everyone around us, faith in the Almighty and blessings of elders gives us the strength to make the right choices,” she blessed.
Amma distributed wheel chairs to the 5 phyisically challenged, provided a scholarsip of Rs 1 lakh to 30 students and pension for the widows and senior ladies. Ayush Kit, to help physical and mental health of senior citizens, was given to 30 beneficiaries.
