Mangalore, Apr 22: Mata Amritanandamayi Devi, will visit Mangalore and participate at two days interaction programme with her followers and hold meditation and bhajan programmes as well as poojas at Amrita Vidyalayam in Boloor on May 1 – 2.
Speaking at the press meet held on April 22, Dr. Jeevaraj Sorake, president of Mata Amritanandamayi Seva Samithi that a four-part event called Amrita Sangama 2011 has been arranged on the occasion.
Along with it, the Brahmastana Mahotsava, which includes a number of rituals such as udayastamana puja, samoohika shree Lalitha sahasranamarchane, rahudosha nirvana puja, shanidosha nirvana puja, and others, will also be a part of Amrita Sangama, he said.
Around 50,000 people are expected to participate in the event and token holders will also receive a hug from her.
