Mangalore : Amway India, the direct Selling FMCG Company, is growing by 33% in Karnataka and 25% nationally in the first nine months of fiscal year 2010, said Rajath Banerji, regional Manager of Amway.
He was speaking at the press meet held at Hotel Gold Finch. He said in Karnataka the company has 12 offices in the state- Bangalore, Shimoga, Bellary, Mysore, Mangalore, Bijapur, Tumkur, Hubli and Belgaum.
Sujoy Bose, Area Manager said that, Karnataka remains a key state for us in South and the growth here is certainly encouraging. We home deliver products to 1654 pin codes in the state and have held around 100 events this year, as against 27 last year. The company is on the growth path in Karnataka, due to the superior quality of the Amway product and efforts of the Amway distributor.
Amway focus in the past 2-3 years to improve consumer access and awareness has paid off handsomely. We have grown from Rs 1123 to 1407 crores in the year 2008-09 essentially as the quality of the Amway pick-up centres are more experimental for the consumer. The ability to place the orders on the web has also led to higher productivity from distributors and our TV ad campaigns have definitely enhanced the brand Amway on a national scale, he added.
He assured to reach Rs 2500 crores turnovers by 2012 and will continue to focus on four key strategic pillars- business excellence, consumer experience, distributor experience and products and brands.
