Ullal: An Auto driver was found dead in an auto, near Kinya village at Natekal under Ullal police limits here on Saturday August 29 morning.

The deceased has been identified as Hidayath(28) a resident of Alekal.

It is said, Hidayath left from home on Friday at around 8.30 pm. On Saturday morning he found dead in-front of his auto seat. It is suspected that Hidayath might hacked to death on Friday night.

Sources said, he had divorced his first wife and married again. Hidayath’s first wife’s brother Farooq had threatened Hidayath of dire consequences two days ago.

ACP Kalyan Shetty, SI Bharati and other police personnel visited the spot. Forensic experts were also called.

Ullal police are investigating the case.
