Mangaluru: In broad daylight an auto rickshaw driver was stabbed by the biker near Roopavani theatre in Market road on Sunday., September 13.

It is said, the auto rickshaw driver who questioned a biker for entering to one way lane in Market road at around 2.30 pm was assaulted and stabbed.

The auto driver has been identified as Gopalkrishna (48), a resident of Panjimogeru.

Sources said, the bikers were angered with the auto driver to stopping them, ant they begun verbal fight and stabbed the auto driver before fleeing the spot leaving their bike behind.

The injured auto driver has been rushed to Wenlock hospital.
