Hyderabad: The senior most Congress leader and CM in Andhra Pradesh, K. Rosiah, has resigned his post in the midst of controversies created by rival Jaganmohan Reddy’s Sakshi TV which relayed public and bitter attacks on Sonia Gandhi and PM Manmohan Singh, without the “Knowledge of contents” of the TV programme, as told by JM Reddy who is MP and son of late CM, Rajshekhar Reddy. Poor Rosiah had faced attacks within the party on his selection as new CM of AP.
Rosiah spent a whole day in Delhi on Tuesday, meeting Congress top leadership but could not get rid of Jagan’s attempts to dislodge Rosiah, as Parliament was not functioning for 8 days and UPA rule was facing 2 G spectrum and other scandals (CWG). Pranab and Moily have rushed to Hyderabad now.
