Uppinangady: The second visit of suspected naxals to a house in Shishila has shocked everyone that too when the ANF was undertaking intensive combine operations in the area following the tracing of Naxals in Shishila recently.
Meanwhile, Alok Kumar, Inspector General of Police (Anti Naxal Force) has confirmed reports that Naxals had visited a house in Holegandi near Shishila. The IGP who spoke to reporters after visiting the house said the combing operations would continue. He said the Naxals who had visited the house had left with rice and grocery items. The ANF team led by IGP traversed the 2 km long distance from Miyar to Holegundi in the forest. The IGP also visited the house of Aravinda which was first visited by Naxals on July 10.
Alleging that the Naxals were trying to mislead the villagers, he called upon villagers not to support Naxals.ANF SP Vasudevamurthy, Inspector Prasanna Kumar and Puttur ASP Anucheth were present.
