Mangalore: Rama Sene(led by Prasad Attavara and Kumar Malemar) was in DK dt., after an attack on a Tabloid Kannada newspaper office on Saturday, March17, barging into the office to break window panes, damage furniture and probably slapped the editor Sudesh K. at Mealtime(noon).

The Sene was provoked to hit back, after an article appeared in ‘Karavali Marutha’ like a wind, saying the Rama Sene was no longer a force it was. Six men in a gang stormed the news office like a whirlwind, for down grading them, and ransacked the computers and files there.

Bunder North police on taking down a complaint from the editor, arrested 5 suspects, but did not divulge their names as either activists or office bearers involved.

The loss incurred by Sudesh is estimated at around Rs40,000.

The Rama Sene had sent warnings before actual attacks. They were unarmed when 6 persons attacked, one of them injured even his hand, by a glass breakage in a hurry.
