Mangalore : Shanthi Milana, the annual district conference of the Rotary was inaugurated at the TMA Pai International Convention Centre in Mangalore on January 26 Saturday by KR Ravindran, past Rotary International Director who is an industrialist based in Singapore.

Dist Governor Rtn. Dr. B. Devdas Rai presided over the function. Vijay Menon Kerala based management consultant delivered the key note address on “Extending Hands and Building Destinies”.Vo R.I. president’s special representative in India PDG Rtn. Kamal Sanghvi was the chief guest on this occasion.  

A guest lecture on “Medical Negligence: What Doctors, Patients and Hospitals should know”.was delivered by PD Shenoy, former Labour Secretary, Govt of India, Dr. P D Shenoy. Dr. R.K. Shetty spoke on  on “Extra that makes ordinary the extraordinary”.
