Mangalore : One more moral policing incident has been reported from Mangalore on January 31, Thursday evening Bhajrangdal activists intercepted a car on Kankanady New Road and attacked a couple which was travelling in the car, for allegedly being involved in an illegitimate affair. It is learnt the man in the car belonged to another religion.

It is said that the girl worked for a service centre at Pumpwell and was married about six years ago, but still continued her affair with the man who was a manager in the same firm. It is said the Bhajrangdal gathering hint that they frequently went on outings in the car, on Thursday chose to target them.

The Kadri police who arrived, took the couple to the station. Details are awaited.
