Bantwal:  Satyajith Suratkal, Hindu Jagarana Vedike leader has said that some anti-Hindu communal mafias in the Congress and JD(S) were working behind the Padil incident by defending or justifying obscenity.

Addressing public meeting at BC Road, he said   some anti-Hindus who are backing the drugs and sex mafia were leveling unnecessary allegations against the Hindu organization.

“Eight young men and five young women had availed the home stay on rent for two days by paying Rs 8000. What else can the reason be but to indulge in sex business on the pretext of birthday?,” he questioned.

He further questioned if birthdays are celebrated in a building in an isolated area instead of in the houses or in a public hall along with family and friends.

He said this was nothing but a ploy to shoot blue films by instigating innocent young women and added the home stays, massage centers, spas and resorts were proving a haven for unlawful activities.

Several leaders of the Jagarana Vedike were present. The agitators also took out a protest march and submitted a memorandum to the chief minister through the tahsildar.
