Mangaluru : Police failed to arrest the master minds behind the murder of autorickshaw driver Ashraf Kallai at Benjanapadavu, alleged Autorickshaw drivers (SDAU) of Social Democratic party of India on July 4, Tuesday.

Protesting in-front of the district Deputy Commissioners office here, SDPI leader Akram Hasan, said, that the master minds Sharan Pumpwell and Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat who behind this murder should be arrested and the government must  pay the compensation to the family of Ashraf, he said.

They further urged the authorities to ensure suitable protection and security to autorickshaw drivers of the district.

Auto drivers Union president  Mohammed Kamal, Iqbal Bellare and others were present.
