Mysore: CM DV Sadananda Gowda honoured a trained design engineer (Balaswami) from Mysore on April 2 here, who had completed PUC studies at the st. Philomena’s College in Mysore, and joined KAWA for training and graduated in Applied Arts(optional subject) from BFA.
The concerned artist, Balaswami, worked in several advertising agency companies in Bangalore. He was awarded Rs.50,000 by CM Gowda for designing the emblem for the state’s prime project of citizens’ service Guarantee scheme, called ‘Sakaala’ which ensures a definite civil service within definite time frame under the scheme in 11 departments of the Government.
Balaswami took a post-graduate degree in fine arts in architecture. He has submitted a design for UGC along with 4 others. He has submitted a design fro UGC along with 4 others. He is available on 99003 00038.
