Mangaluru: Mangaluru’s well known young advocate Arun Bangera will defend the most sensational Bhaskar Shetty murder case, in favour of two prime accused Rajeshwari and her son Navaneet.

Though there is lot of pressure from Bunts community not to take this case, Arun will defend the case in JMFC court, Udupi.

While asked about this with Arun he said that the constitution has given right to everyone to hire a lawyer in any case. “Whether the accused are the real culprits or not that I don’t know. Court is there to judge it. Then what is wrong in defending a case in favour of accused?” he said.

Other accused Shrinivas Bhat and Raghavendra have appointed another Mangaluru based lawyer Vikram Hegde to fight for them.
