Mangaluru : An accused in District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) center assault case attempted to end his life at Wenlock hospital on Monday November 8.

Naveen (31) is the accused who tried to end his life.

He tried to kill himself by hanging himself to the window using a bed sheet. He is out of danger, said police sources.

Three women were injured after Naveen barged into the District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) center located at Karangalpady near Jail compound and attacked then on September 20.

Naveen works as a peon at Kundapur court. He was admitted to Wenlock hospital for psychiatric treatment.
