Mangalore :In a assault case in Ullal police station limits, Narayan Salian an accused in several cases including attempt to murder former don Muthappa Rai, arrested at Ullal here on Saturday June 28.

Sources said, Narayan Salian along with his cousin, was driving in his car towards Kotekar from Deralakatte to drop him to a beauty parlour. In an attempt to overtake his car was hit on bike.

The bike riders questioned Narayan for the rash driving reason. When a argument ensued, one of the biker reportedly hit Narayan with his helmet.

Angered Narayan grabbed a sickle from a nearby bike and assaulted to the biker.

It is said, two brother Preetham and Lalith, were riding towards Someshwar temple when the incident took place.

Lalith was assaulted in the incident. The other brother Preetham runs to avoid encroachment.

Ullal police took Narayan into custody. Both the brothers Preetham and Lalith were admitted to a private hospital. Narayan also injured in the clash.

It is learnt that, Narayan salian was accused in a murder attempt on Muthappa Rai and Advocate Harish Rai in connection to the murder of advocate Naushad Kashimji.
