Mangalore: Bunty a-five-year-old tigress which was attacked by Kumar a-seven-year-old tiger on Monday is died at Pilikula Biological Park on Tuesday October 14.

Kumar a male tiger was attacked Bunty at 4 pm on Monday and wounded her around neck severely. Bunty, which was brought from Hyderabad nearly two years ago, breathed her last at around 11 p.m.

Bunty critically injured, treatment was given to her wound, but Finally she breathed her last, said Director of the park H J Jayaprakash Bhandary.

The two were seen mating in the display enclosure where visitors can see the tigers, it is said.
