Puttur: An auto driver in Puttur has taken the humanity to next level by providing free ride to those people who are going to bank to exchange the Rs 500 and Rs 1000 currency notes.

Sadiq is the auto driver who is the new icon of the town. He runs an auto on hire between Mundur Naithadi and Panjala. Since last Tuesday he is providing free service to the people who go to bank to exchange the currency notes.

“I am contributing little to the Central government’s new policy. It is a good work to prevent black money. For next three days my auto will run for those who are going to bank to exchange the notes,” said Sadiq.
