Karkala: In a collision between a bus and auto rickshaw two siblings lost their life at Shivapura near Hebri on Sunday.

Guruprasad (26) and his elder brother Vasant (30) are the deceased persons. Guruprasad was driving the auto during the incident.

The auto was plying from Shivapura to Hebri. Vasant was sitting in passenger’s seat. A mini bus which was going towards Udupi from Hebri collided with the ill fated auto. Due to the collision Guruprasad, who was driving the auto died on the spot and the rickshaw was completely damaged.

Vasant, who sustained with severe injuries, breathed his last at Manipa Hospital.

A case has been registered at Hebri police station.
