Vittal: One aged person died after an auto rickshaw hit him near Kanyana Bharat Sevashram on Tuesday night.

Jatthi Subraya Bhat (82) is the deceased person.

While he was walking towards the Ashram an auto rickshaw hit him from behind and he was thrown to the road. Due to the impact of it he was suffering from severe head injuries. Immediately he was rushed to the Vittal hospital, but as he didn’t respond to the treatment, he breathed his last in the hospital.

He was felicitated by many organisations for his unique service in the field of literature. He was a retired school teacher and he is survived by his wife and a son.
