Mangaluru: “Modern technology will raise the quality of education undoubtedly. Audio-visual medium will have greater impact on students and will help them to study even better,” said State Higher Education Additional Chief Secretary Bharathlal Meena.
He was addressing the gathering at Mangaluru University in a conference held on the topic Issues and concerns of affiliated colleges, on Friday.
“State higher education department recorded some of the lectures of different colleges and it helped the lecturers of other college too. As the teachers build the nation by shaping children, it is important to learn how the other lecturers teach,” he said.
Chief Secretary of UGC, Prakash P, said that UGC has tried its level best to improve the quality of the education. There is a need to keep the teaching methods upto date as it decides the growth of the country.
