Vittal: A’Veda’ teacher beaten and abused a little boy at Vittal police station limits in May, 2015 for the boy coming late to class. The incident came out when a complaint lodged on Wednesday, September 9.

Complainant Sheshappa had taken the incident on his mobile and uploaded it social media net work. The video of the incident went viral recently.

The complaint stated that the incident had happened in May, 2015 at Panchalingeshwara Temple Veda School for Brahmins. The teacher is also seen questioning the boy, who is not more then 10 years, if he was a Brahmin or a Kshatriya and that his behaviour is such that it would tarnish the image of the Brahmins. It is said that the boy had perched on the chair meant for Kshatriyas. A complaint has also been given to women and children welfare department as well.

The teacher as Somasundar Shastry teacher first hits the boy, who one hand is already bandaged and then strips the boy off his shirt.

Complainant demanded stern action against beaten teacher.
