Mangalore: An inter-school art contest  as part of an awareness drive against Malaria in children, will be conducted  in Mangalore   by Medicines for Malaria Venture(MMV), a Geneva based Swiss foundation, in association with KMC, Health Department and Malaria Cell of the MCC. The  Centre for Integrated Learning in Mangalore, will co-ordinate the contest, informed Dr Shantharam Baliga of KMC.

Speaking to reporters, he  around 6000 students from nearly 25 schools of Mangalore will take part of which 100 students will be qualified for the final round. The contests will be held in October, he informed.

The best 250 paintings will be displayed at the valedictory to be held at Town Hall on November 2.
