Mangalore : DK District in-charge Minister B Ramanatha Rai inaugurated the Phase-2 of the Mangalore Kitchen of Akshaya Patra Foundation on June 17, Tuesday at at Srinivasa Lower Primary school.

The programme was initiated in three-phases; B.Ramanath Rai flagged off Akshaya Patra Foundation Vehicle in the first phase along with the Mangalore North MLA Moidin Bava.

10 students who achieved in the SSLC examination this year awarded in the second phase and third phase was witnessed the inauguration of the kitchen by the minister.

More than 23000 children in Mangalore benefited from the mid-day meals by the Akshaya Patra Foundation.
