Bellary: The victorious MLA-elect B. Sriramulu did not want to re-enter BJP under any circumstances he reached Bangalore to take Oath at 11 AM as independent  MLA in lower house, to the discomfiture of ruling party members.

He garlanded the “Basava on a horse” statue near Vidhana Soudha, before talking to reporters.

He reacted to Eshwarappa’s dictum that he (MLA) he would give the key of his safe (treasury) to Eshwarappa (to take back a Rs,1000 crore, presumably to plunder it.

Sriramulu clarified that he would not join JD-S, although Kumaraswamy was his best friend, nor have talks on this issue. He would tour the state, even before forming a new party, he added.

Sriramulu was refused permission by police to go on foot, to Vidhana Soudha to take oath at 11 AM on Dec 7, he decided to go in an open jeep!  Brave new MLA if there is one to move in as an independent MLA from Bellary
