Mangalore, April 30: Congress District unit Interim President Ibrahim Kodijal condemned Baba Ramdev’s statement on Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi’s visit to Dalit house for honeymoon.

Speaking at a press meet held at District Congress Office on April 30, Wednesday, he said that Baba Ramdev giving such a derogatory statement against Rahul Gandhi and Dalits, which not suit the sanyasi likes him.

He also said that Baba Ramdev must immediately make an apology the Dalit community for his offending statement against the community.

Kodijal also said that despite being a Brahmin, Mahatma Gandhi used to visit Dalit colonies and even cleaned lavatories and when Rahul Gandhi paid his visit to hear their grievance, he had to listen such statement.

Congress leaders Ivan D’Souza, Shashidhar Hegde, Nazeer Bajal, Nagendra, Vishwas Das and others were present.
