Mumbai : Thane Police has busted a baby smuggling racket in Ulhasnagar. This group of baby smugglers used to sell new born babies for two to three lakh rupees.
The modus operandi of this group was very simple.
They would first buy new born babies from families facing severe financial constraints for twenty to thirty thousand rupees.

The baby has been sent to a child-care centre while the parents of this 6 day-old baby have been arrested.
