Mangalore: The DK Bajarang Dal activist Sunil Kumar (32) has exposed his true colors and has been found to be a rowdy in the roll of a Bajarang dal social worker in city. He got married to Sumitra (23) a few months ago with Rs.20 lakhs spent on his marriage by Sumitra’s relatives and 20 pound sterling gold given to him as dowry before his marriage. Sumitra’s friend had informed the bride before marriage that Sunil was a drunkered and anti social in bad company of similar friends.

After 6 months of marriage Sunil not only mortgaging the gold received as marriage gift, Sunil had also spent the amount lavishly and was bold enough to demand Rs. 1 Lakh extra by way of dowry from Sumitr’s elder brother and parents after the marriage.

Repeated demands and mental harassment given by Sunil and his family members forced Sumitra to go to Pudu in Bantwal area and complain about Sunils uncivilized behavior and forcible demands made to her for Rs. 1 lakh dowry after marriage that created difficulties for Sumitra which her brother Mohan realized in due course. Sumitra took 100 B.P tablets at a time to get rid of herself in her parental house about 10 days ago and was taken to a hospital in Kankanady and was placed in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) by Fr. Mullar’s doctors for a full week, but the treatment did not produce positive results, and Sumitra (23) breathed her last on Tuesday Dec.17.

This has exposed the Bajarangi worker Sunil as a villain of the piece and abettor in the consequential death of a helpless Sumitra just after 6 months of marriage to force an end to her life.

Sunil and his family members are absconding from their house, and the city Police are hunting for their heads to save the tragic situation.
