Mangalore: Bajrang Dal Activists staged a protest against the Former VC of Kannada University Dr M M Kalburgi’s  statement, in front of the DC office here on Wednesday, June 11.

Condemning Kalburgi’s statement VHP district President Manohar Tulajaram said that, urinating on idols nothing wrong has damage the thoughts of Hindu’s in the country. He must apologies to the Hindu people.

Sharan Pumpwell also condemned Kalburgi’s statement and demanded immediate arrest of Kalburgi.  

Protesters burnt the effigy of Kalburgi.

At the end of protest a memorandum was submitted to the Deputy commissioner Ibrahim demanding to the arrest of Kalburghi.

Dinesh Pai, Punith Raj Kottari, Jithendra Kottari, Bujang Kulal and Gopal Kuthar were also present.
