Mangaluru : Nothing is going in the way of Naresh Shenoy who is the prime accused of RTI activist Vinayaka Baliga’s murder.
Third JMFC court on Thursday June 30 extended Naresh’s police custody for another two days.
The extension was granted after police wanted to interrogate him more regarding the murder case as Naresh Shenoy is the prime accused of it.
On the other hand no decision was taken on the request made by Chief Investigation Officer ACP Tilak Chandra regarding subjecting Shenoy to the narco analysis and brain mapping.
The court also rejected the application made by the lawyers of Naresh SHenoy to permit the accused to take treatment in a private hospital as the accused is suffering from kidney ailments. Asha Nayak lawyer of Vinayak Baliga’s father argued that the accused was subjected to all type of medical tests before taking him into custody, so there are no chances of arising new problems.
