Bangalore : Sandalwood actor Rakshita, who is the probable BSR Congress candidate from Chamarajanagar Assembly constituency is most likely to jump into Bharatiya Janata Party.

Sources in the party said Rakshita had got an offer from the BJP to join the party and that the actor recently met Deputy Chief Minister R Ashoka in this regard.

Rakshita, who is also the women’s wing chief of BSR Congress, is understood to have told party president Sriramulu that lack of support from party workers had led her to consider quitting the party.

A party worker said that Rakshita was not very comfortable with the recent induction of sandalwood actors Pooja Gandhi and Madan Patel into the BSR Congress, he said.
