Bantwal : A tragic road mishap reported from Bangalore on July 25, Thursday has claimed the life of a young software engineer hailing from Bantwal. The deceased has been identified as Ananthakrishna Holla(29), an employee of Sonata Software Company.

Holla was heading towards his office in his two-wheeler when it was knocked down by a speeding concrete mixer truck at Outer Ring Road, Sumanahalli. The driver of the truck escaped from the scene soon after the mishap.

Holla stayed at Laggere and had moved to Bangalore a few years ago. Kamakshipalya traffic police have registered a case.
