Bantwal: In a rapid operation the Deputy Commissioner A.B.Ibrahim directed to Tahsildar Malleswamy to seize 15 sand transportation Lorries at B.C.Road here on Wednesday July 9.

The DC noticed when he was traveling to Neriya in Belthangady, the lined up sand lorries at B.C.Road and his vehicle was jammed in a traffic. At the right away DC informed to SP Dr Sharanappa to intercept the lorries and check the documents.

With the assistance of police Tahsildar Malleswamy seized all lorries.

The Deputy Commissioner also inspected the two-way traffic on BC Road fly-over.

Circle Inspector Belliappa and Town Police Station inspector Nandakumar were present during his inspection.
