Bantwal : Bantwal tahsildar Rashmi S R along with other officials, raided an illegal sand extraction site at Panemangaluru near here on midnight of Friday June 25.

Two boats and a tipper truck were sized during the raid. Two people managed to escape during the raid.

This raid was conducted at midnight of Friday by the revenue department personnel with the active cooperation of forest department and city police station personnel.
