Bantwal : A certain Dilip Shetty, a resident of Bantwal, has been booked for posting defamatory photographs and comments on Prophet Mohammad in his Facebook page. The action was taken following a complaint lodged  by  a resident of Amaimar named Abdul Khader.

The accused has been booked   under Sections 295 A (deliberate act intended to outrage religious feelings) and 298 (uttering words with deliberate intent to hurt religious feeling) of IPC.

The Cyber crime police who swung into action have removed the  photo and comments from Facebook.
