Bantwal : An entrepreneur here died of suspected dengue after failing to respond to the given treatment on Friday, September 13. The deceased is identified as Prashanth Saralaya, and was a business partner in a business named Sapta Ventures.
Apparently, the deceased was suffering from fever and was treated in a hospital in Puttur. However, the fever relapsed four days later and hence he was rushed to a private hospital in Mangaluru. He failed t respond to the treatment and soon breathed his last.
The deceased leaves behind his parents, wife and two children. He was an active member of Puttur Jaycees. He had become partner in Sapta Ventures after working as accountant there for several years.
Meanwhile, the district malaria control officer Dr Navin Kumar, has informed that the matter will be verified after obtaining report from the hospital.
