Mangalore : The Barke police station SIs Siddesh and Povappa H M and staff members have arrested four persons involved in various robbery cases on October 29, Saturday.
 
The arrest was done by the Barke station SI’s under the direction of Mangalore North police station SI Vinay A Gaonkar.
  
The arrested are identified as Yogish (34) and Ranjan (47), resident of Mahakali Padpu, Jeppu, Anil Barboja (32), resident of Preethi Nagar and Prashanth Shetty (30), resident of Yekkur
 
The arrested are accused in other assault including attempt to murder, and murder cases and Yogish is said to be the mastermind behind the team.
 
The arrested would take the youths in auto rickshaws after talking and rob their ornaments.
 
Police have seized 38 grams of gold worth Rs 1 lac, knife, and mobile phones from them.
 
Police said that these four have also sold gold to VRS Finance, Hampankatta, Akshaya Finance Hampanakatta, and New Lavanya Jewellers, Bolar.
