Mangalore, The NCC Cadets in association with Barke Police Station and Bharath Scouts and Guides organized a Blood Donation Camp at Bharath Scouts and Guides Bhavan on April 20, Wednesday.
Speaking after inaugurating the event, I A Kairanna, MJF district chief commissioner said that this is a good initiative to start a camp in order to give interest to the people. This kind of camp will encourage the young people to serve for the society.
K Vasanth Rao, ADC, District Secretary said that the youths are very important to take part in this camp since they are the one who must inculcate the interest to serve for the people and society.
The students are very devoted for the service along with their education.
Barke Station SI H Shivaprakash said that blood is the costliest thing in the world that any one can donate. It is happy to see the staffs being fully involved in the camp.
Dr Poornima Rao, HOD of Blood Bank, KMC and other doctors conducted the camp. K Ganesh Kudva, chemists organized the camp.
The scouts and guides students along with the staffs of Barke Station donated the blood.
