Mangaluru: Family entertainer Tulu movie ‘Barsa’ is ready to hit the screens of coastal region on October 13.

Addressing the press meet director of the movie Devdas Kapikad said that the censor board has given ‘U’ certificate for the movie.

“Arjun Kapikad has played a male lead role in the movie. Barsa is a mixture of love, sentiment, action and comedy. It will be a complete family entertainer. Kshama is debuting through this movie,” he said.

He further said that Aravind Bolar, Bhojaraj Vamanjoor, Lakshman Kumar, Sarojini Shetty, Chetan Rai, Thimmappa Kulal, Umesh Mijar and others have played a supporting role in the movie.

“Songs of the movie have got positive response in YouTube. The shooting has been completed in 36 days in and around the city,” he added.

Producers of the movie Sapna Shrinivas Kini, Sharmila D Kapikad and actor Arjun Kapikad was present.
